Most people don't know what actually happens in a coaching conversation...

... and that's usually the reason they never book one.

Not because they don't want help but because they don't know what to expect.

"do I have to explain everything perfectly?"

"what if I don't know what to say?"

"is it just someone giving me advice?"

If this sounds familiar, let me show you what it's actually like.

We're not here to "fix" you

We're here to understand what's really going on inside your head. Every conversation is different and we focus on what matters to you.

So it might start with something simple:

"what's been happening at work that's made you start doubting yourself?"

Then we slow it down

"When do you notice it the most?"

Is it certain meetings?

Certain colleagues?

Moments where you feel completely out of your depth?

Confidence doesn't just vanish completely, there's usually a pattern.

Then we get closer to the heart of it

"What do you find yourself overthinking?"

Is it what you said?

How you said it?

What you didn't say?

How you came across?

This is usually the moment people realise how much mental energy they've been using every single day just to keep going.

Then we bring it back to the present

"What feels hardest right now?"

Not everything, just the thing that's sitting heavy in your chest.

Because when it all feels overwhelming, starting with one small piece can help.

Then we look forward

"What do you want to feel instead?"

More confident?

More certain?

More like you again?

A lot of people I work with haven't asked themselves this question.

And then...

"What does 'feeling more like you again at work' actually look like for you?"

Because that version of you hasn't vanished. It just feels further away than it used to.

Then we look at what's possible

"What could you do differently tomorrow that would start giving you that feeling?"

It's usually a series of steps, a way of approaching work, or conversations differently.

Setting boundaries when something doesn't feel right

Speaking up in meetings (even if it feels uncomfortable)

Noticing patterns in your thinking and learning how to pause before they take over

Choosing where to focus your energy instead of reacting to everything.

Its not about changing everything at once, but experimenting with how you show up at work. It might be slow, but it's deliberate and helps you gradually rebuild trust in yourself.

You don't need perfect answers.

That's the whole point. It's not about performing or getting it right.

It's about having space to think, untangle your complicated thoughts, and start trusting yourself again.

By the end of a session, most people leave with their first step.

If this feels like what you need right now and you're curious about coaching

My mini-coaching session is a great way to start.
